A project based on a memory about a change in belief. I produced a book recounting an early childhood experience of responsibility and the discovery of a world outside of my own. I manipulated the type to aid with the narrative. The first half of my book represents a self-centred childish outlook, sugar paper and handwriting reflect this. A mirror page in the middle indicates the moment of realisation and subsequent reflection on my actions during the event. The final concertina section eludes to opening up and being honest about the situation. Finally, the back cover portrays a new outlook, considering others outside of the central self.
